My Perspective
Therapy takes courage to address whatever leaves one hurt, anxious, angry or feeling "stuck". It remains an honor to work with people at their own pace to support them in creating meaningful change to reach their personal goals. The almost 30 years I have been working with people help me to tailor treatment to meet individual needs. I enjoy working with you to identify your personal goals and discuss which interventions might fit for you. I primarily utilize Internal Family Systems along with EMDR to address the wounds that result in current symptoms. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and EMDR Level II trained. My areas of focus include complex trauma, LGBTQ+ related issues, gender affirming care, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic illness, life adjustments and relationship issues. Providing a safe space for fellow therapists to do their own work remains a priority for me as well.
Therapy is a collaborative relationship to help you reach your personal goals for yourself.
I look forward to hearing from you to see if I am a good match for you.

About Me
My name is Julie Stone, but I go by Jules and use she/her pronouns.
Being able to pursue what you love as a career is truly a gift. I feel incredibly grateful to work along people on their healing journeys. My experience is varied, spanning group homes, community centers, and hospital programs, but my passion lies in the 18 years I have dedicated to building my own private practice. Throughout my career, I have focused on supporting individuals in crisis and guiding them through trauma recovery.
Outside of work, I cherish time with my wife. As empty nesters, we enjoy traveling, attending local events, and sharing plenty of laughter. Besides being a wife and mother, I am a long-distance runner who also enjoys biking, walking, and strength training. My interests include reading, listening to podcasts, exploring local culture, cooking, and music. I have a fondness for local coffee shops and dark chocolate, and an unusual passion for math and sign language.
